Per today's announcement by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on the extension of the State's Stay Home, Stay Safe order, Calhoun County office and building closures to the public will continue through Thursday, April 30.

 

Essential operations, as they are taking place currently, will continue through April 30. This means we are limiting in-person reporting to work to only those positions deemed critical to sustain or protect life, and to perform minimum business operations. And when it is necessary to report to your worksites, we are all required to continue to comply with social distancing requirements and safety measures according to the Governor's Executive Order 2020-42. 

 

Over the next several weeks, with guidance from our Countywide Joint Operations Center and public health officials, County leadership will continue to assess whether we will resume regular operations on Friday, May 1.
