Sharps Collection

sharpsSharps Collection Drop Boxes 
These drop-boxes will increase sharps disposal access for Calhoun County residents by providing year-round collection of sharps containers.  The drop-boxes are residential use only and require the sharps to be placed in a shatterproof container such as a small sharps collection container or a rigid plastic container with a tight lid.  Containers will need to fit the opening provided through the drop-box lid.  Disposal of loose sharps is not allowed.

These drop-boxes are funded through a FireKeepers Local Revenue Sharing Board's 2019 Tier IV Grant.

in drop box:

  • Loose sharps
  • Medications
  • Business Waste
  • Garbage
