Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP)

Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP) is a free program that partners first-time moms with nurses. NFP® nurses regularly visit you at home from pregnancy through your child's second birthday. Your nurse will help you to have a healthy pregnancy, give you coaching on child development, and empower you to pursue your own path to a successful, happy life for you and your family. Your NFP® nurse is there for you so you can be there for your baby!

Home Visits
Each visit is designed around three goals: a healthy pregnancy and delivery, your baby's health and development, and your vision and goals for the future. Our aim is to support you in becoming the best parent you can be, have a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy baby

How will my nurse support me?
  • Have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
  • Become the best mom you can be.
  • Learn and practice skills that make you more confident as a mom -- breastfeeding, nutrition, child development, safe-sleep techniques and much more
  • Get referrals for healthcare, childcare, job training and other support services available in your community.
  • Continue your education, develop job skills, and follow your dreams for your future
